Like any great origin story, this one has a dash of whimsy. Molly O’Keefe and Sarah Hack happen to have been born on the exact same day in New York–Sarah on the Upper West Side, and Molly just thirty minutes north in Yonkers. Thus, in a sense, the birth of this company was 40 years in the making.
